WHAT WE BELIEVE

Believing that certain fundamental doctrines are essential to Christian unity and realizing that other points may be open to private belief, we make this statement of faith:

A.   We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

B.   We believe that there is one God eternally existent manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

C.   We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

D.   We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

E.   We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling a Christian is able to live a Godly life.

F.   We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are distributed as He chooses with no single gift intended for every believer.

G.   We believe in the physical resurrection of both the saved and the lost:  the saved to a resurrection of eternal life with Jesus Christ, and the lost to a resurrection of damnation.

H.   We believe in the spiritual unity of all who have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

I.    We believe in the two ordinances of Communion and Baptism of believers.
